West Chester University Summer students
USH provides housing for WCU students enrolled in one or more in-person Summer Course.
WCU Summer Student FAQs
Summer Housing is May 20th, 2026 through July 27th, 2026. Summer housing move-in must take place Monday through Friday, no weekend move-ins.
If you live with USH for Spring of 2026 you will have the opportunity to sign an addendum for May 10, 2026, and relocate to a summer assignment. You must pay Summer in full in order to stay past May 10, 2026.
USH offers summer session housing as a service to full-time undergraduate and graduates enrolled in WCU summer session classes. You must provide proof of your summer schedule along with your housing payment and completed USH lease agreement.
Summer Housing is $14 per night, your desired length of stay will be requested when you apply for summer housing.
Check-in instructions and procedures will be distributed to residents once the housing registration process is completed. Full invoice payment is required prior to arrival and will be subject to a 6% PA Hotel Occupancy Tax if stay is under 30 days.
West Chester University Student Workers and Interns
USH houses WCU students who have on-campus jobs or are completing a Summer internship with a WCU department.

USH welcomes students from other colleges and universities who are completing a Summer internship in the Greater-Chester County & Philadelphia areas!
Non-WCU Student Interns FAQs

USH offers summer session housing as a service to students of other colleges and universities who are completing an internship in the Chester County & Philadelphia areas. You must provide proof of your internship and internship information, along with your housing payment and completed USH lease agreement.
Summer Housing rates for non-WCU interns is $35 per night, your desired length of stay will be requested when you apply for summer housing.
Check-in instructions and procedures will be distributed to residents once the housing registration process is completed. Full invoice payment is required prior to arrival and will be subject to a 6% PA Hotel Occupancy Tax if stay is under 30 days. All non-WCU student interns must move out by July 27th. There is no possibility for extensions past this date.
Submitting a
Summer Housing Application
Log in to the USH Resident Portal
- Current residents of USH
- Use the login information of your existing USH Resident Portal account
- Create an account using your WCU email address
- Create an account using an email address you access daily
Submitting an Application
- Select “Summer Housing Application”
- Select your resident classification from the dropdown menu
- Review the dates of Summer Housing and click “Apply”
- Fill out the required information regarding Summer Program, demographic, and your dates of your stay
- Upload supporting documents such as class schedule, internship program documentation, WCU department approval, etc.
- Complete your resident profile, and wait for your Summer Application to be reviewed by USH
