Roommates

No roommate? No problem!

Our roommate matching program is powered by our housing software, and you participate in your USH Resident Portal. You will have the opportunity to create a personal profile, search, filter, connect and match with other residents who will be living with USH and are part of our student group (incoming first-year, transfer and returning students).

Gender Inclusive Housing

We offer Gender Inclusive Housing, where you can choose to live with roommates of any gender. This option is open to all students and is designed to help you find a comfortable and compatible living situation.

What you should know:

  • Gender Inclusive Housing is optional—you must select it in your housing application.
  • Roommates may share rooms, units, and bathrooms regardless of gender.
  • If someone moves out, remaining roommates may need to help find a replacement. USH will also assist if needed.
  • If no replacement is found, USH may reassign roommates or change the unit to single gender.
  • If reassigned, you may be moved to another available suite-style unit.

How to sign up:
Select Gender Inclusive Housing in the USH Resident Portal and choose your space during roommate selection.

You’re only responsible for your own rent — never someone else’s! Your lease is directly with USH Affiliated Housing.
