Desk Assistant
University Student Housing hires Desk Assistants to work in one of USH communities. Desk Assistant serves as a representative of USH and is the first point of contact for the students and guests within the residential community.
- Greet visitors in a warm and welcoming manner.
- Support the USH staff by effectively and efficiently performing administrative responsibilities as assigned.
- Assist in opening and closing buildings.
- Monitor all keys to ensure that our resident safety and security is intact.
- Manage package intake and distribution to residents.
Must be a current WCU student in good standing with the University.
Community Assistant
University Student Housing hires Community Assistants to work in one of the affiliated communities on campus. The Community Assistant serves as a representative of USH and by aiding in the retention of residents through being knowledgeable of USH operating processes and procedures.
- Greet visitors in a warm and welcoming manner.
- Support the USH staff by effectively and efficiently performing administrative responsibilities as assigned.
- Assist in opening and closing buildings.
- Assist with the implementation of marketing efforts on-campus, in the community and at special events.
- Assist prospective residents with completion of our online application ensuring all documents are completed accurately.
- Conduct periodic account audits according to procedures
- Assist with preparation of resident correspondence and collections follow up communications.
Must be a current WCU student in good standing with the University.
