You will arrive at your community’s designated Unloading Zone, where you will have 30 minutes during your time slot to unload your vehicle. After your time slot ends you will be required to move your car to your community’s designated long-term parking area.

Keep an eye on important dates to make sure you complete all the steps needed for a smooth arrival on campus.

    Welcome to USH, we hope you had a great first day of classes.

    You are now considered a current student for USH on our website.

    Please update your “STATUS” to see correct information and dates.
  • Room Change Request Available

    September 9-11: Room Change Request Period

    Students interested in requesting a room change may submit a Room Change Request Form through the USH Resident Portal.
  • USH Financial Aid Authorized Rent Due

    September 15: Balance Due

    Students who have authorized financial aid must pay any remaining account balance in full by September 15 to avoid late fees.
  • Fall Break

    Monday, October 12th and Tuesday, October 13th

    You are permitted to remain in your room.
  • Thanksgiving Break

    Thanksgiving Break all residence halls close at 10:00 am on Wednesday, November 25, 2026 and will reopen on Sunday, November 29, 2026 at 12:00 pm. Only students who are approved to remain in their assigned space during the thanksgiving break period will be approved to stay.
  • Winter Break

    Close for Winter Break on Saturday, December 12, 2026 at 10:00 am and reopen for the start of the spring semester on Sunday, January 17, 2027 at 12:00 p.m.
  • Spring Break Closing 

    The Residence Halls (Allegheny, Brandywine, Commonwealth and University Hall) will close for Spring Break on Friday, March 5, 2027 at 6:00 pm and reopen on Sunday, March 14, 2027 at 12:00 pm.
